Play for Peace invites to join Level Up: Race for Humanity 2020
Play for Peace will host Level Up: Race for Humanity to support recruiting, training and mentoring young leaders to become champions of compassion in the US and over 50 areas of conflict around the world.
- (1888PressRelease) September 01, 2020 - Play for Peace will be celebrating Level Up: Race for Humanity 2020, a virtual fundraising event, to support recruiting, training, and mentoring young leaders to become champions of compassion in the United States and over 50 areas of conflict around the world. The initiative, from September 1 to September 30, will offer the chance to bring international experiences and newfound inspiration to the classroom, home, and workplace.
Play for Peace will give rise to a sense of spirit, creativity, and positivity to the year with Level Up: Race for Humanity 2020.
“After a long summer of staying inside, join Play for Peace for this entirely virtual event that invites participants to get up off the couch to elevate their hearts, minds, and bodies with challenges, activities, and exercises created for individuals and groups of all ages, ending with the big race. Walk, bike, or roll your 2.2K to 20.2K journey, and embrace the new sense of peace within yourself, while inspiring your community and supporting peace around the world,” said Sarah Gough, Play for Peace Executive Director.
Aspirants can sign up as an individual, create a team, or join an existing team on the Level Up page.
Everyone who registers will receive a digital training toolkit, for home or outside, and can opt in to earn electronic badges. Participants of all ages can complete activities individually or with your classroom, friends, and family following physical distancing guidelines.
The event asks participants to open their hearts, minds, and bodies to new experiences from around the world by completing activities and finding new ways to level up, while making an act of kindness within the community.
Level Up: Race for Humanity 2020 is a month-long opportunity to offer hearts, minds, and bodies new ways to think and feel differently, with all donations raised by participants going to Play for Peace to help educate youth leaders in areas of conflict around the world and the United Estates.
