- (1888PressRelease) October 09, 2012 - Jerald Honeycutt is a member of the Louisiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Twice, he has been selected as ' the Louisiana Basketball Player of the Year'. He currently holds the all-time scoring record at Tulane--2,209 points.
He recently extended his contract in Japan, agreeing to play through 2013. He plays for Toyota. He initially joined Toyota during the 2011-12 season.
The Milwaukee Bucks selected Jerald Honeycutt during the 1997 NBA Draft ( Round 2, Selection 10 ). Since then, he has primarily played in Asia. His career in Japan started in 2005 when he joined OSG Phoenix. He was selected as the Top Centre in league-wide voting during his first season with OSG Phoenix. He has become one of the best players in Japanese professional basketball.
