  • (1888PressRelease) June 03, 2020 - The Human Growth Foundation (HGF) announces Pfizer as this year's Gold Sponsor of the HGF Virtual 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth. The charitable event takes place on June 6 - 13, 2020. Registration is open online at RunWalkForKidsGrowth.org.

Due to COVID-19, HGF changed the annual race and fun walk into a virtual event.

HGF executive director Patricia Costa says, "The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for everyone, but we at the Human Growth Foundation hope that, with the help of our partners, we will continue to raise awareness of childhood growth disorders. It's important because if a child isn't growing, that could be a sign of a significant health issue. Pfizer's compassionate support of this event allows us to further our mission."

The Human Growth Foundation relies on support from the community to provide education, patient support, and advocacy to children with rare growth disorders. Anyone, of any age, in any location, can register. Participants can run, walk, or stroll the three miles. Each registrant will receive a medal shipped to them.

Registration for the 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth is $0-$15.
