  • (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2012 - Children of Bromley based Spotlights Theatre School, have had their wishes come true to join the star-studded cast of this year's Peter Pan Pantomime at Bromley Churchill Theatre.

Cameron (age 11), Kyle (age 9), Anek (age 9), Andrea (age 9), Joshua (age 9), Marcellus (age 7), Alexander (age 11) and Sam (age 11) who attend Spotlights Theatre School every week have been chosen to play the parts of John, Michael and the Lost Boys in Churchill Theatre's upcoming production of Peter Pan. The boys will be starring with Jennifer Ellison of Dancing on Ice fame playing Peter Pan, EastEnders' star Ace Bhatti as Captain Hook, and Balamory's Andrew Agnew as Smee.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for the young acting enthusiasts to be part of a professional production," says Faye Willingale, Co-Director of Spotlights Theatre School. "The children worked really hard at the audition and are over the moon to be joining some of their very own acting role models on the big stage."

At the same time as being a great opportunity for the aspiring actors, Faye hopes it will also encourage more children to join their local theatre school. "Whilst for some, Spotlight's coaching is the start of their professional training in the performing arts, for most, the classes are just a great way to find new ways to express themselves, make friends and grow in confidence. We hope the young actors on stage will inspire others to try something new - and maybe discover a hidden talent!"

Peter Pan will be showing in the Churchill Theatre between November 30 and January 6. Tickets cost between £14 and £31.
