Persia From VH1's White Rapper Show And Mom Head To El Salvador To Hand Out Some Much Needed Aide
Persia from White Rapper Show lends support for youth in El Salvador, who really need Aide.
- (1888PressRelease) September 23, 2010 - New York City - Persia born Rachel Murcerino and her mother Mrs. Emma Murcerino have been visiting La Libertad in El salvador since 1992. During her initial visit she had the pleasure of meeting the families that lived by the beach and instantly felt compelled to help in any way they could.
Since then Mrs. Murcerino have visited on average of twice a year bringing luggage filled with new clothes, toys and candy to distribute to the children.
She has also built several homes for the families and helped putting the children through school. They have become her family.
On her visit to the beach, she rented a place for the day and host 40 children and their mothers for a day of fun in the pool along with a meal consisting of chicken & rice, soda and ice cream.
Mrs. Murcerino states "Most of the people I work with don't have any access to a pool, or really don't eat chicken but maybe once a year. This time for them is well remembered".
Persia and Mrs. Emma Murcerino has been doing this for many years but now Mrs. Murcerino is retired at 72 and cannot carry all the costs. A plate will cost $6.30 and that will include the pool charge. Would you like to sponsor a meal and day of fun for just one child?
Also on this upcoming trip she plans on bringing new clothes and new shoes. If you would like to contribute towards a meal, a pair of shoes, used or new clothing or financial donations, they would be most grateful on their behalf. The goal is to give families a great experience as well as some necessary tools they will need to survive the next few months.
