Parker Aerospace Extends Contract for Support Services in Mexico with The Offshore Group

  • Tucson, AZ (1888PressRelease) April 22, 2012 - Parker Aerospace, an operating group of Parker Hannifin Corporation, has extended its contract for manufacturing support, or "shelter" services in Mexico with The Offshore Group for a period of five years ending April 1, 2017. Parker Aerospace has operated a production facility in the Roca Fuerte Industrial Park in Guaymas, Sonora since 2002, and currently occupies 37,714 square feet of industrial space. Sixty-one workers are involved in the manufacture and assembly of aerospace equipment, including wire harness assemblies, brake components and valves.

    According to Parker Aerospace Group Vice President of Supply Chain Management Frank Thompson, "our relationship with The Offshore Group in Mexico over the last decade has been a mutually beneficial one. The workforce and facility resources in Guaymas play an important role in the accomplishment of our business objectives."
