Parampara - Tradition at its Best (Music & Dance)
Ambalam, Centre for Performing Arts and XS Real Properties Pvt Ltd present "Parampara - Tradition at its best", a festival of music and dance.
- (1888PressRelease) March 23, 2011 - This festival was started by artistic couple Indira Kadambi and TV Ramprasadh in the year 1995, who founded the Ambalam Centre for Performing Arts (ACPA). This festival features the torch bearers of tradition from across the globe. The 2011 Parampara will be inaugurated by Ms.Leela Samson, Chairperson of Sangeet Natak Academi and Director, Kalakshetra Foundation and will feature Carnatic Music, Hindustani music, Bharatanatyam and Kathak. All artists featured are artists with over 30 years of performing experiences and those who have mesmerized audiences' world over.
The proceeds of this event go to aid "Home of Hope Children's Home" (www.hohdominic.org ) , near Avadi.
During this occasion two audio CD's of T.V.Ramprasadh will be released by Ms.Leela Samson and Swami Abhiramananda, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapeeth, Chennai.
