  • West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) July 17, 2017 - Join the entire community at the 10th Annual Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. in downtown West Palm Beach on Clematis Street to celebrate and honor the courageous service and sacrifice of our brave veterans and their families!

    The Veterans Day Parade, organized by the Palm Beach County Veterans Committee, is currently in need of support:
    1. Sponsors and donors are needed to help defray the expenses incurred in producing the event. Donations are 100% tax deductible.
    2. Participants are sought to join in the parade – veteran, civic and community organizations; marching bands; dance schools; scouting troops; etc.
    3. Spectators are encouraged to bring their family, friends and co-workers and help us line up both sides of Clematis Street from parade beginning to end with people showing their appreciation for our men and women who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom!

    The mission of the Palm Beach County Veterans Committee, Inc., is to proudly honor through the Memorial Day Ceremony and the Veterans Day Parade our past, present, and future veterans in this our Country the United States of America.

    The Palm Beach County Veterans Committee is comprised of volunteers from local veterans’ organizations and community activists. They receive no grants or funds from any government agency and rely entirely on private donations. The Committee was established as a DBA by the Friends of Veterans, Inc. (FOV). The FOV is a Florida not-for-profit corporation, established in 1993, that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. FOV is licensed to receive charitable contributions by the State of Florida.
