  • (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2013 - William Jelley will report to Christian Whitehead, EVP and CFO, and will remain lead in other accounting and finance matters such as taxation and financial dissemination. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Jelley was the SVP and controller. With 35 years well served with Pacific International Commodities Exchange, William Jelley has relentlessly contributed his expertise on finance and accounting.

    Barry Dempster is the new VP of Investor Relations reporting to William Jelley. This strong collaboration is expected to bring in more promising activities for the team. Barry Dempster has been a valuable contributor to Pacific International Commodities Exchange for the past 19 years with her prior responsibility as VP of Corporate Relations. "Part of the challenge is continuing on with what my predecessor has began and bring in fresh perspectives that will support current and future endeavours. With a brilliant team, I believe that we will prevail over these challenges. As we keep focused on moving forward with IR activities, I would also like to get to know the team better," concluded Barry Dempster.

    Scarlett Lloyd will remain as Investor Relations Director and will be reporting to Barry Dempster. Scarlett has been the driving force behind the Employee Relations division of the HRD as the director of Employee Relations Enhancement Activities. Her contributions in this department have been well received and recognized corporate wide. Joining her team in Investor Relations is another colleague from the Employee Relations Division, Peyton Nilsen as Associate Investor Relations Officer. Peyton had worked with Scarlett from 1998 - 2003. "I am thrilled to be once more working with Scarlett and motivated to bring in as much experience and dedication as she has to make things happen for the team," Nilsen commented.

    These changes will make it possible for Tristan Henderson, SVP Treasurer, to concentrate on tasks involving treasury, M&A support, project analysis, strategic planning, and capital markets.
