The book was released by Mr. S Muthiah, eminent writer, historian and journalist. The launch was followed by an engaging discussion between the author and Mr. Muthiah as they delved into the mystical land of Atlantis.

    The fantasy novel by this English Literature student of Stella Maris College, Chennai is set in nearly the real world. 'Prophecy: The Rise of the Sword' narrates the tale of Neha Sharma, an apparently ordinary heiress from Delhi, as she hunts for the mythical, long-forgotten land of Atlantis. The discovery of Atlantis and the Atlanteans' underwater colony, Lemuria, where the former Atlanteans still thrive, and the announcement that Neha is in fact the chosen one of the Atlantean Gods, leads her brother to one simple conclusion that his sister is insane.

    Neha Sharma's search for the lost land of Atlantis leads her and Atlantologist Nick Halliday on the
    adventure of their lives. Lemuri pertains, a vibrant life deep in the dark waters of the Indian
    Ocean. The book higlights politics, power-play, treachery , suspense and a Prophecy that sucks Neha right into the heart of it all.

    The story takes the protagonists of the novel, Neha Sharma and Nick Halliday, deep down under the

    About the author:
    Priya K is a young nineteen year old aspiring author. This her first and indeed excellent attempt to enter into the profession of writing. She is a final year undergraduate student of English Literature student at Stella Maris College, Chennai. It took her roughly two-and-a-half years to complete this book. This debut work of Priya gives the timeless Greek myth of Atlantis in the 21st century a thrilling twist.
