Originatic LLC set to launch second generation Smart-leaf Computer
Originatic LLC, based in Chicago, Illinois, is the manufacturer of the patented Smart-leaf, a mount-ready, all-in-one industrial computer featuring a touchscreen and foldout keyboard. Originatic has recently announced its plans to launch the second generation Smart-Leaf next month in the American market.
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) September 07, 2012 - The second generation is based on new partnerships established with major computer manufacturers, including HP. Through the new partnership with HP, Originatic has incorporated the HP TouchSmart 9300 Elite into the Smart-leaf form factor.
The chassis of the second generation features the unique foldout keyboard as well as enhancements in the areas of durability, security, versatility and ease of use. The second generation has competitively priced models, loaded with the latest features and powered by Intel® Core™ processors.
The product is positioned for high volume sales in a variety of business markets, including mass transit venues (i.e., airports and train stations), large retail chains, healthcare, education, hospitality, manufacturing and government.
Designed to readily mount to a wall, stand or cart, it frees-up valuable space. product foldout keyboard has an integrated mouse touchpad, eliminating the clutter of a separate keyboard, mouse and cables. The touchscreen enables fast inputs for kiosk/touch applications. The keyboard options include a plastic keyboard or stainless steel,vandal-resistant, IP65 water-sealed keyboard. The built-in devices include DVD,WiFi, Webcam and speakers, among other features of the HP Touch Smart. Windows 7 Professional is standard.
For use on a tabletop, the product features a steel, foldout kickstand and bolt-down security holes. For kiosk applications, Originatic offers an optional kiosk kit accessory. Attachable to the Smart-leaf, the kiosk kit provides additional security, guarding the side data ports and DVD slot from the public and restricting access to the power button.The Smart-leaf also features an array of mounting hole grids for easy mounting of peripherals and signage.
The standard warranty and support include HP Elite Premium support for one year with onsite service in the USA. Extended warranties are optional.
