Grace and Zen offers yoga, ballet, and combo classes for infants through teens, including many parent participation classes. Specialty classes include infant massage, prenatal yoga, and special needs yoga. Each class finishes with a healthy snack or craft to encourage creativity and educate children about healthy living choices.

"It is a lifelong dream come true to open up Grace + Zen, and share my vision with the families in South Orange County," said Nikki Sulon, Owner and Founder of Grace + Zen. "So many children today are over stimulated, under exercised, and just forget how to use their imaginations. My goal was to create a calming environment where kids and parents can get back to the basics of childhood and utilize their imaginations, while getting some physical exercise, mediation, and healthy lifestyle education too."

In addition to classes, Grace + Zen also offers family friendly workshops, kids nights out, and themed yoga and ballet birthday parties.

"The benefits of yoga and ballet for kids mirror the benefits for adults," Sulon said. "I break down the basics of yoga and ballet in a kid-friendly way, so the children experience stress relief and relaxation, while building strength, coordination, and flexibility. It is a really beautiful thing to watch the kids just let go in a calm and controlled way. I couldn't ask for a more rewarding way to spend my day."

Sulon is an experience children's dance and yoga instructor, with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from California State University, Chico. She minored in Dance at CSU, Chico, and spent her summers working as a YMCA camp counselor, where she discovered a love of working with children, and a love for practicing yoga after a knee surgery that limited her dancing abilities. She later received Children's Yoga Teacher Training and an Infant Massage Teacher Training from It's Yoga Kids in her hometown of San Francisco, California.
