  • (1888PressRelease) April 24, 2012 - Solutions to the explosive growth in digital media and online video content will be a key topic of debate, when some of the world's leading content and telecoms providers assemble for the 2nd Annual CDN World Forum (www.cdnconference.com), at Earls Court on 12 and 13 June 2012.

Co-located with the Cloud Computing World Forum (www.cloudwf.com), one of Europe's leading enterprise technology events, the CDN World Forum will focus on how businesses of all sizes are affected by the increasing consumer requirement for digital media and content on-demand.

The two day conference will incorporate discussions related to Video on Demand (VOD), Streaming Media, Mobile content provision and big data; assessing the vital role Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) play in assisting each area's successful delivery.

The seminar agenda will be delivered by over 40 industry experts, including Bob Harris, CTO, Channel Four, Maria Ingold, Head of Technology, FilmFlex and Sam Farraj, VP Digital Media & Content Delivery Services, AT&T.

Indeed, Sam Farraj's presentation, 'The Federation Roadmap - new models of shared CDN provision', will focus on new models for CDN delivery such as Federations, and how telcos such as AT&T are using the technology to improve their content delivery capabilities.

Alongside telcos, the event is expected to be attended by some of the world's leading CDN suppliers, network providers, broadcasters and IT vendors, all keen to discuss the future of the industry and the role CDNs are playing, and could play, within their organisation.

With the conference co-located alongside the Cloud Computing World Forum, attendees will also be able to understand why CDNs are so vital in the increasing delivery of utility computing across the globe. Overall, the event is expected to be attended by over 4,000 delegates.

The show will also hold a two day expo, where over 100 global exhibitors from the enterprise technology sector will be in attendance, displaying their latest and most innovative cloud computing products and solutions.

Sponsors of the show include Microsoft, Edgecast, Equinix, Huawei, China Net Center, Tata Communications, CleverScale, Conviva, IneoQuest and many more.
