One Love San Diego is "Giving Back through Yoga"
Second annual charity event to acknowledge and celebrate San Diego's youth through Yoga.
- (1888PressRelease) September 19, 2013 - San Diego, California - This year, One Love San Diego is calling all of us to "Serve our Heart" through its second annual charity Yoga event. Set to be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on September 22nd, the event will be from 12 P.M. to 4 P.M. with doors opening at eleven in the morning. Participants of the event will be treated to live music and all-levels Yoga class under the tutelage of some of San Diego's best instructors. Interested parties are requested to bring a yoga mat, towel, water bottle and sunscreen and to wear yoga or athletic apparel.
Set to inspire us "to live in a space where people love no matter what", this year's charity event is dedicated to both acknowledging and celebrating San Diego's youth. "There is an estimated 2,000 homeless youth on the streets and an estimated 40% of youth will continue to be homeless or incarcerated by the age of 18." One Love San Diego points out, which is why 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to local, non-profit organizations, San Diego Youth Services and Outdoor Outreach. Both organizations are locally based and continue to stabilize the lives of homeless, runaway, abused, at-risk and underprivileged youth in the San Diego area.
One Love San Diego encourages those interested to "Invite your friends, your family, people who have made a difference in your life, people you have learned lessons from, and the ones you love with all your heart. Give back to San Diego, join us to unite as one community and acknowledge our youth."
