Offsite Technology Solutions Named As A Finalist in 30th Annual Hillsborough County "Community Design Awards" For Historic Building Restoration
Technology provider is nominated for 2012 "Community Design Award" for extensive renovation of historic Tampa building to provide clients with cloud based managed network computing and IT consulting services.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) May 09, 2012 - Offsite Technology Solutions has been named as a nominee for a Community Design Award by the Hillsborough County Planning Commission. 2012 represents the 30th year that the Planning Commission has presented local individuals and companies with the award.
"We are very proud of the results of our efforts to restore this historic building for use as our corporate office," said Ron Zielin, President of Offsite Technology Solutions.
Originally built in 1920, the 4,200 square foot Offsite Technology Solutions building located at 1613 N. Franklin St. in Downtown Tampa took nearly two years to transform into the historic landmark it is today. Land O' Lakes-based Rowe General Contractors was engaged for the remodeling work. The building features spacious glass windows within the historic brickwork façade and stands out as a model of how notable Tampa buildings can be converted to high tech work and retail space.
"This project reinforces our commitment to the Downtown Tampa business community and we are proud to be a part of the redevelopment of the historic Franklin Street business district," said Zielin.
The Hillsborough County Planning Commission will celebrate 30 Years Building Community, as they present the 30th Annual Community Design Awards on Thursday, May 10th 2012. The awards ceremony will be held at Maestro's at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts and will be hosted by Brendan McLaughlin, ABC Action News Anchor.
