Available online at http://www.CFSCGOnline.com, the long and short term care network's Brooklyn, Bushwick, Queens, and Holliswood Care Centers participated in the event.

"The Wyckoff Hospital Cancer Survivor Picnic was a celebration of life, recognizing the inspiring patients, caring doctors and staff, and revolutionary medical techniques that make it possible to live through this devastating disease. Centers for Specialty Care Group was happy to be a part of that celebration," said Kenneth Rozenberg, CEO of the nursing home therapy network.

In observance of the 25th National Cancer Survivors' Day (NCSD), the outdoor Wyckoff Hospital Cancer Survivor Picnic featured free makeovers by makeup artists for survivors and their guests, as well as a selection of favors designed to promote awareness.

Four of Centers for Specialty Care Group's 13 NYC nursing homes participated in the event. The conveniently located 215-bed Brooklyn Center for Rehabilitation and Residential Healthcare and the 225-bed Bushwick Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare were in attendance; featuring a 100-patient adult day care program, the Bushwick Center is getting ready to launch a new kidney dialysis treatment stations like those in the Centers' Bronx Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
