Green is an owner and partner at Falls Village Veterinary Hospital in Raleigh, where she practices small animal general medicine and surgery. She is the former president of the Friends of the NCVMA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the organization. A North Carolina native, Green is a graduate of Randolph Macon Women's College in Lynchburg, Va., and the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Green also attended the University of Reading, in the United Kingdom, and Green College at Oxford University, also in the United Kingdom.
