  • Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2013 - The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (http://www.ncvma.org/) has announced that it will host its fifth annual Veterinarians' Day at the State Capital on Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the auditorium of the Legislative Building located at 16 W. Jones St. The event will bring together state legislators and veterinarians in various practices from across the state to raise awareness of current issues affecting the veterinary profession. Senator Bill Rabon (R.), Senator Trudy Wade (R.) and House Minority Leader Larry Hall (D.) will speak at 9:45 a.m. to attendees about issues pending in legislature. Later in the afternoon, Senator Rabon and Representative Joe Tolson (D.) will introduce the veterinarians to their respective chambers.
