  • Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2018 - On November 27, the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center will hold its monthly charity networking luncheon by bringing Tampa Bay Area nonprofits together and providing an educational talk from Ms. Lynn Posyton who has been successfully working with nonprofits for 30 years. The luncheon was created to give nonprofit leaders information to help them prosper as well as encouraging networking to produce new alliances.

Ms. Posyton will speak about overcoming common barriers to getting and keeping volunteers and board members.

“At this networking luncheon you will meet a diverse set of people from all over Tampa Bay and get tools you can use to succeed from the speakers. The information given has the impact to change lives.” said Melinda Watson, attendee of the last networking luncheon.

The luncheon is free to attend and guests will have a chance to meet other nonprofit leaders and volunteers. A complimentary lunch buffet is provided.

“At the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center we work with a multitude of different nonprofits,” said Clemence Chevrot, Director of the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center. “We organize the luncheon to support these community-oriented groups by bringing them together to work toward improving our neighborhoods and increasing the number of people they help.”

In partnership with the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization, the Clearwater Community Volunteers opened the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center in March of 2018 with the purpose to assist Tampa Bay nonprofits. The charity networking luncheon is one of the events that it hosts to accomplish that purpose.
