  • Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2015 - Easily one of Atlanta's most dynamic Boss Ladies, Niya Brown Matthews is taking the world by storm. The world may know her by her fashionable clothes and as the wife of a former NFL player, she is truly much more. While she consistently wows her real estate clientele with her savvy business approach, leadership; it's her compassion and humanitarian outreach work that significantly impacts so many lives across the globe. Look for her upcoming appearance on The Wendy Williams Show on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.

As CEO of Capital Rents Consultants, a company that help aid investors, landlords, and property managers on how to provide efficient homes for low income families. She is also the founder of a Women's Empowerment Network called Boss Lady United. Their mission is to inspire, enrich and educate women through raising awareness, teaching assertiveness and cultivating self-respect. Boss Lady United is dedicated to women in the community who come in and discuss personal challenges they have faced and overcome in their lives.

Niya Matthews assists in community outreach projects, feeding the homeless, and toy drives alongside her husband, former Super Bowl Champion Eric Matthews. She is also an active board member for the Eric Matthews Foundation.

"People need to know being a "Boss Lady" isn't about having just having your own money to buy things. It's about dictating your own path, if one doesn't seem to present itself, then CREATE IT. A Boss Lady is a woman who is in control. People who haven't yet seen her, feel the need to respect her - and do! She runs the show, is cool and collected, and gets the job done. Confident, never looks down. Demands respect and get it. Most importantly, she never compromises her mission. That's my definition of a "Boss Lady."

Despite having to fight cancer twice, Niya never allowed it to stop her from "fulfilling her purpose." Niya stated "It seems the second time I was prepared. With my faith was restored, I knew if He did it before He would do it again . And HE DID.

In October 2014 Niya started a movement called "Too Fabulous for Cancer". She believed if you look good you feel good. The movement has gone VIRAL in Atlanta. From radio, to magazines, to even people wearing the t-shirts - people surely know about this organization.

Through the "Too Fabulous for Cancer" organization, Niya has taken the time to raise money to help aid cancer patients struggling to not only stay healthy, but to look and feel FABULOUS during the process. This organization blesses cancer patients with makeovers, new wardrobe, photo shoots, copays and more. If you ask Niya how she feels about having cancer and kicking its butt twice, she states like the true BOSS that she is " What cancer? I'm too fabulous for it anyway".
