  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) September 27, 2020 - We saw many things changing during the time of lockdown that people never saw and never faced, and no one was ever were ready for this. More important thing for everyone was to to keep themselves ignited in such times by involving self in more creative activities.

Food is one thing that we all love to play and keeps everyone of us connected, this is what everyone did during this Lockdown in India or even abroad, people always kept posting their Food creativities on the Internet through various media where it be Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Things have changes a lot in the past couple of months and if we see the data on the internet today, Instagram grew up massively with Food related contents profiles. Some may be called the top rated and some still struggle to make their ways to be the best.

Nilesh Patel and his wife Nisha, this couple manages their page on Instagram, their profile proves to be the most artistic from creations in many ways, their posts in past five months have been the most creative and artistc fusions. Creations they make from the resources available in their own Kitchen, one thing which is different from everyone is "they make everything on their with their own imagination. Every post of theirs today on the Instagram is created as a Fusion food which is a blend of different styles, taste, origins and flavors."

"My Daughter always wanted to enter in to culinary industry and for her, we started to try more different type of cuisine at home. So we were already involved in these things but we never thought of how can we change our dimensions by giving it a new Look? My Daughter graduated and that went a year over, we were not actively involved in presentations as for us “Food is Food.” But I always kept telling my Daughter to present everything that she cooks so that she keeps her skills sharpen on time to time, no matter she cooks a normal meals we make in our everyday life. (We actually forget that Point in our life.)"

When lockdown was first declared, my younger Daughter who also wants to get her actively involved in culinary industry after she completes her schooling, she first invited me to a small challenge me with her, she made a quick and easy dessert and I made a simple Risotto from vegetable stock. The whole idea was not just how we can kill our time but also to bring an output on what we can create from whatever resources we have available in our home kitchen. This is something that can help anyone of us in the tough times like lockdowns - Nilesh Patel.

"We started to understand that if we take things in to proper channel, we can create wonders, with this in mind, me and my wife both came up with an idea of creating a simple recipe that every home in Surat knows well. Surati Cuisine that has a history of over 6 centuries and it is always prepared in the same old traditional ways using simple ingredients. This is where Surati’s play better compared any part of the country, three Key ingredients balances entire dish which is prepared with care with perfect timings of cooking method. Green Chilies, Ginger & Salt, only these three things balances the flavors and aroma of any dish - Nisha Patel."

Based on Seasons, rest ingredients keeps on changing but that won’t make a huge difference as in Summer & Monsoon we use Dried Garlic where as in the Winter it is replaced with Green Garlic (Pungent) but this changes the looks and feel of entire dish. Flavors, Aroma and the sharpness takes it to a new height of culinary.

The idea we came up is “We decide a simple Dish that originates from Surat and we ask our families and friends to come up with the same dish on every Saturday we decide” and that too with whatever ingredients they have in their kitchen, but this will give an impact that We Surati’s can balance our Taste, Flavors and Cuisine anywhere in the World just with a limited resources we have in our Kitchen. And we started with this small concept in mind, evert Saturdays, we’d come up with a new delicacy that is originated from Surat and that was made throughout our network of Family and Friends in different areas of the city, different cities and also in other countries like Canada, U.S.A, Czech Republic, U.K. This whole idea was just to bring things back to shape showing how we Surati’s do things still in the same old ways.
