Hurricane Maria, the worst natural disaster to ever hit Puerto Rico and parts of the Caribbean, destroyed lives, infrastructure and the economic lifeblood of the island. This past spring, New Jersey-based Matrix, with its extensive history of restoration, including the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf and Superstorm Sandy in New York and New Jersey, was brought in by the US Maritime Administration (MARAD) to support multi-disciplinary damage assessments on commercial ports throughout Puerto Rico.

Matrix will be returning shortly to begin work on the restoration of commercial and recreational areas in Puerto Rico. Click here to view Matrix at work in Puerto Rico.
