    This week it was reported that Larry Prior has been appointed to lead the North American public sector at CSC.

    He previously served as defense and intelligence business lead starting in May 2013.

    Ken Deutsch, former leader of the company's naval and joint operations division, will oversee the defense and intelligence business.

    BAE Systems PLC has agreed to acquire commercial cybersecurity services provider Perimeter Internetworking Corp. for $233 million.

    "The acquisition of SilverSky enhances our strategy to grow our Applied Intelligence commercial cyber security business," said Ian King, BAE chief executive.

    SilverSky expects $75 million in sales for 2014 and has 5,500 customers in commercial markets.
    More than 400 people work for SilverSky who will transfer over to BAE when the deal closes.
    SilverSky focuses on financial services, retail, healthcare, energy, critical infrastructure and manufacturing.
