  • (1888PressRelease) April 21, 2016 - New Vitae Wellness and Recovery has expanded its array of behavioral health service options through the acquisition of The Mitchell Clinic in Emmaus.

New Vitae The Mitchell Clinic will offer various intensive outpatient services to support three primary populations: individuals seeking behavioral health supports, people seeking recovery from drug and alcohol misuse, and persons diagnosed with both behavioral health and substance use challenges. New Vitae will grow the clinic's services, expanding available staff in order to promote flexible scheduling.

"New Vitae Wellness and Recovery recognizes the challenges associated with behavioral health, substance use, and co-occurring challenges," said New Vitae President and CEO Judith Yanacek. "We continue to develop our continuum of services to enrich the lives of service users and facilitate their dreams and goals through evidence-based, recovery-modeled, and Sanctuary-informed clinical supports."

The center's new director, J. Todd Barlow, is also excited about the opportunities associated with the variety of services. "It's exciting to see recovery and wellness take root in people's lives," Barlow said. "Many service users may not have a clear understanding of their challenges. Is it a behavioral health challenge, an alcohol or drug problem, or is it a life transition? The majority of us do not fit neatly into a category or diagnostic box. Our integrated, individualized programs address this and provide service options."

Individuals interested in learning more about services through New Vitae The Mitchell Clinic are encouraged to contact the center at 484-664-1400.
