New Vitae Wellness and Recovery CFO Named a Finalist for Lehigh Valley Business 2015 CFO of the Year Award

    The CFO of the Year awards program honors the Greater Lehigh Valley's financial executives of all levels for the critical roles they play in helping their companies succeed and, in turn, supporting the region's economic growth and stability.

    Finalists were selected in six categories:
    • private company with revenues up to $25 million,
    • private company with revenues of more than $25 million,
    • nonprofit small - up to 74 employees,
    • nonprofit large - more than 75 employees,
    • best growth manager, and
    • best turn-around specialist.

    Muth was selected as a finalist in the category of private company with revenues up to $25 million. Winners in each category will be announced during an awards breakfast on Sept. 16, 2015 at DeSales University in Center Valley, and all honorees will be profiled in the CFO of the Year award supplement inserted in Lehigh Valley Business newspaper on September 21, 2015.

    After having worked for nearly 20 years in a nonprofit continued care environment, Muth joined New Vitae Wellness and Recovery in 2000 as financial services manager. In 2015, he was promoted to CFO with the responsibility of overseeing all of New Vitae's financial operations.

    Muth earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Moravian College and lives in Emmaus, Pa.
