New Ultra Pass Membership Expands Affordable Medication Access

Health Pals pairs pharmacy services, telehealth and commonly used prescriptions in a $299 cash-pay program.
- Kansas City, MO-KS (1888PressRelease) August 07, 2026 - Health Pals is expanding its affordability-focused healthcare model with Ultra Pass, a new $299 monthly pharmacy membership developed for Americans who need a more predictable way to pay for routine telehealth and prescription medications.
According to a Health Pals comparison of the Ultra Pass medication list with commonly used prescription drugs in the United States, the program includes access to more than 50 percent of the medications Americans use most. The company created the initiative as workers and families contend with layoffs, lost insurance, high deductibles and other financial pressures that can cause people to delay care or leave prescriptions unfilled.
Ultra Pass currently combines access to primary-care telehealth, eligible Pill Pass generic medications, GLP-1 weight-management treatment and vitamin B-12 injections, with a $0 member copay for included services and standard shipping where available. A valid prescription, clinical appropriateness, membership terms, fulfillment eligibility and state availability apply. Drug, strength and quantity limits may vary.
The $299 membership fee is charged for each 30-day period. Ultra Pass is not health insurance and does not cover hospitalization, emergency care, every medication, every clinician, diagnostic services or the full range of specialty care. Health Pals describes it as a bundled cash-pay option for people between jobs, independent workers, uninsured families and insured patients facing unaffordable deductibles or exclusions.
Ultra Pass builds on Pill Pass, Pill Pals Pharmacy's prescription-savings program offering more than 280 generic medications, with qualifying 30-count prescriptions starting at $6.99 and standard shipping included where available. No paid Pill Pass membership is required.
The affordability initiative is part of a broader healthcare model being developed by pharmacist and Health Pals founder Dr. Felicia Udoji-Eddings, Pharm.D., together with attorney Henry C. Service, J.D. Service brings experience in private practice, Missouri long-term-care regulation, prosecution and federal legal work involving the U.S. Departments of the Interior and Justice.
Service is also collaborating with Health Pals through Med Pals, which is developing community healthcare infrastructure in underserved rural and urban areas. Its Kansas City prototype is located in the historic Lincoln Building in the 18th & Vine district, where a planned healthcare business hub will support pharmacy, clinical, manufacturing and related operations.
"Med Pals is about more than just opening buildings," said Udoji-Eddings. "It is about restoring healthcare access, creating jobs, supporting local providers and showing that underserved communities are worthy of serious investment."
