  • (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2011 - A new interactive magazine for men, The Boulevardier (www.theblvdier.com) launched with its teaser issue on October 3rd. The monthly magazine was created to cater to the young, modern, and international gentleman, aged 20 to 35.

"There is an overabundance of glorified blogs that are clearly having an identity crisis, as they go around calling themselves men's magazines." said Alexander T. MacGregor, Jr., editor-in-chief and publisher. "Alternately, you have a small number of actual men's magazines who claim to provide content for today's gentleman, but what they produce is often quite staid and cliched. How many articles do we need to read about 'tits and grilling'? I like to think that the readers of The Boulevardier are more, for lack of a better word, evolved."

The Boulevardier aims to forge new territory in its use of web technology as well as content delivery, design, and interactivity so that one does not just read The Boulevardier; one experiences it.

The magazine's roster of contributors includes young writers from around the world, to ensure that the content is cosmopolitan and provides a wide range of perspectives on the topics covered.

Each issue will be available for free online on the first Monday of the month, and will contain articles ranging from international politics to men's fashion to philosophy and other topics pertaining to the life of a modern gentleman, while the cover story will be an interview of a true 'boulevardier'.

The teaser issue features articles such as the cover story on the Duke of Windsor, a humourous take on the upcoming United States election, and a critique of Silvio Berlusconi.

The first full issue is to be released on November 7th.
