  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) April 06, 2011 - Great Clips has opened a 960-square-foot salon, and Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa (2,317 square feet) along with eateries Panchero's (2,500 square feet) and Subway (1,240 square feet) will all open shortly at The Hills Village Center. In addition, Kings supermarket is renovating its store and adding 4,515 square feet. Recent leasing activity coupled with renovations have successfully repositioned the 109,800-square-foot center, according to Dale Mulartrick, director of leasing for Levin Management Corporation, exclusive leasing and managing agent for The Hills.

"Our efforts at The Hills Village Center have successfully refined the tenant mix to meet the needs of the property's affluent and growing marketplace," said Mulartrick. "Today's well-balanced mix has gone from largely service-oriented to one that includes a solid range of national and regional retailers and restaurateurs, as well as popular local stores that continue to have a very loyal following."

The newest tenants join a roster that last year had welcomed Verizon FIOS, McGrath's Hardware, Cherrybrook Pet Supplies and Big East Wireless to the fold. Anchored by a 31,080-square-foot Kings Supermarket that is now growing to nearly 35,600 square feet, The Hills Village Center also offers such well-known names as CVS, Hallmark, PNC Bank, GNC, The UPS Store, and Starbucks, among others.

Located at 400-470 U.S. Highway 202/206 in Bedminster, Somerset County, The Hills Village Center was originally created as the retail component for The Hills, an upscale 5,000-unit residential Planned Unit Development. The location has a growing five-mile population of more than 57,000 with a median annual household income of $124,689 and an average household income of $182,033. The daily traffic count is nearly 20,000 vehicles.

Levin currently maintains a growing portfolio of more than 90 diverse retail properties totaling 12.5 million square feet. Properties range from downtown stores to lifestyle centers, and from neighborhood and community centers to power centers in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Levin offers a full range of services for its clients, including leasing, property management, accounting, construction management, marketing and risk management.
