DPC Veterinary Hospital is pleased to announce that as of January 29th, 2018 Dr. Peter Birzon has joined our hospital as the new Chief of Staff. “We are excited to welcome Dr. Birzon to our hospital,” said Nancy Abecassis Co-Hospital Director at DPC. “He has been the top veterinarian in South Florida for over 30 years, and we are thrilled to have him on our team.”
Dr. Birzon received his undergraduate degree at Auburn University and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. He has owned and operated some of South Florida's top veterinary hospitals. Prior to joining DPC he worked at Indian Trace Hospital in Weston. Dr. Birzon strives to practice thorough, ethical and compassionate medicine. During his career he has successfully performed some of the most complicated surgeries. Dr. Birzon will be treating patients at the Davie, FL office located at 6991 Stirling Road.
