NCA announces the 2014 film release of the film documentary "U Street (The Black Broadway)". The film will include interviews from the black business community that has existed on U Street in Washington, D.C. nearly 70 years. Interviews include the Mitchell family (Industrial Bank), Lee family (Lee's Flowers) and former SNCC members Marion Barry and Robert Smith. The film will be submitted to film festivals and placed in limited theatrical release. Celebrity appearances will include Dick Gregory, Bill Cosby, Roberta McLeod and many more.

NCA founder S.V. Henson, Jr. stated that during the making of the film "Bowl of Dreams" over 200 hours of footage created over a 6 month period was not included. Conversations about U Street kept emerging over and over and the camera kept rolling. We discovered an entirely different film existed from reviewing the footage. Stories, footage of celebrities that trusted the environment enough to forget the camera was rolling and show another side of themselves. This is a sister film to "Bowl of Dreams". This is the sequel to "Bowl of Dreams"
