Trent Tucker was drafted by the New York Knicks in 1982 and had a decade long career in the NBA. Tucker played for the Knicks for nine years and ended his career as a NBA Champion with the Chicago Bulls in 1993. Known as one of the premier 3-point shooters in the history of the NBA, Tucker holds the Bulls record for the most 3-pointers scored in one game and ranks fifth in the NBA with the most 3-pointers in one game. Since his retirement, Tucker worked as a broadcast analyst for the Minnesota Timberwolves and is currently a sports commentator on KFAN Minneapolis Radio. In April 2013, Tucker was named the Director of District Athletics for the Minneapolis Public Schools where he has supervisory and strategic control over all functional athletic disciplines.

With 28 public schools in his scope of daily operations, Tucker is making a mark on the way sports education is being taught today.
