Her books and short stories are chapters of her deeply touching spiritual journey that is expected to offer comfort and inspiration to others whose lives have been engulfed by emotional ordeals.

    "I am really excited about the opportunity to share with readers a personal journey that I hope will better enable them to embrace their struggles with honesty and without fear," said Robins-Makaila, who is an author and inspirational speaker. "It is my hope that by sharing my experiences, I can help others overcome adversity in their own lives. Alohamomi.org seeks to support women in all walks of life, to live their best lives. We share articles on faith and spirituality, health and wellness, parenting, relationships and self-awareness.     ABOUT THE AUTHOR/OWNER
    Momi Robins-Makaila is a Native Hawaiian author and inspirational speaker. Her first book was titled, Candy Canes and Coke, which was a candid account of overcoming abuse and dysfunction. Her second book, Rescued By A God I Didn't Know is about her spiritual journey in building a relationship with God. She also shares short stories about emotional challenges for the purpose of self-reflection and self-actualization. Momi earned a Master's degree in special education from Gonzaga University. She also earned a Master's degree in Christian leadership from Grand Canyon University in Arizona, and is currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree from Grand Canyon University.
