National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Laverne B. Friedmann as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

As the president and CEO of the firm she founded in 1988, Laverne B. Friedmann's independent commercial insurance agency is located in Southern California and serves national and international clients.
Ms. Friedmann became an insurance professional in 1973 when she was first introduced to a national direct writer of insurance. At the time, the EEOC required large companies hire minorities and women were categorized as such. Chosen from over two hundred other applicants, Ms. Friedmann's dedication to remain in insurance since then has led her to her current prominence.
"I knew that I wanted to be independent and make decisions on my own," Ms. Friedmann said about the formation of her brokerage. "As a former partner in a firm with four other male partners, I saw the difficulty of making decisions quickly when considering so many options. I knew I had to be on my own."
Currently working on the perpetuation of Friedmann & Friedmann Insurance Services that was started with just $15,000 in a spare bedroom, Ms. Friedmann is working to build a great future for her family one client at a time.
Certified in all areas of insurance, Ms. Friedmann is an active member of the board of Laura's House, Women Presidents Organization, National Association of Professional Women, Working Wardrobes, and Wounded Warriors.
