Mobalaji Umaru initially founded his business in 2010 as a car cleaning company, Leher Mobile Detailing. Serving as a mobile car cleaning unit, it provided services to both residential homes and businesses. Since that time, Mr. Umaru changed direction, opening Leher Limousine, an executive driving service for clients in need of safe, reliable, and timely transportation.
Overseeing every aspect of the business, Mr. Umaru makes all appointments, schedules, advertising, marketing, sales, promotions, and service of vehicles. He also believes in the importance of being well groomed, as it is necessary to have and maintain a distinguished look as compared to his competitors.
"Getting up early in the morning, working long hours late into the evening, and managing time, space, and personalities are all qualities I possess," Mr. Umaru said. "My dad, who also owns and runs his own business, has taught me a lot about business and the motivation to do well, while my mother has been my biggest motivator."
Hoping to continue to grow Leher Limousine with the use of more aggressive advertising, Mr. Umaru would like to expand into other regions, take his business nationally, and have an entire fleet.
Mr. Umaru holds a BA in Education from Howard University.
