NAIOP NJ to Host Regulatory Update Seminar; Earn CEU Credits

  • Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon, NJ (1888PressRelease) May 24, 2012 - On June 5, NAIOP NJ's Regulatory Update Seminar will be held at the NJ Law Center (NJ ICLE) in New Brunswick from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

    The program will feature information on new regulations and public policies that affect businesses. There will be two expert panels. The first, moderated by Michael Seeve of Mountain Development Corp., will feature key Department of Community Affairs Codes & Standards personnel and industry experts discussing NAIOP-supported initiatives to improve the local permit, code review and building inspection process. Panelists will include Ed Smith, Director, Division of Codes & Standards; John Terry, Division of Codes & Standards; Ed Klimek, KSS Architects; and Ed McDonald, Boston Properties.

    The second panel will discuss the new State Strategic Plan in depth and will feature: Dan Kennedy, Office for Planning Advocacy; Michelle Siekerka, Department of Environmental Protection, and Andy Swords, Department of Transportation. The moderator of the panel will be State Planning Commission Member Tom Michnewicz of Somerset Development.
