  • Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) November 03, 2010 - Ten more real estate industry-related professionals recently joined NAIOP New Jersey, bringing the chapter's total membership strength to nearly 520. To date, New Jersey's leading commercial real estate, land use and economic development resource has added 61 new members in 2010. Through its link to NAIOP corporate, the New Jersey Chapter also offers a direct connection to more than 15,000 members throughout North America.

"The research, educational, and networking benefits and opportunities of NAIOP New Jersey membership are substantial, and an increasing number of industry professionals want to take advantage of that," said Seena Stein of Newmark Knight Frank, who co-chairs the Chapter's Membership Committee. "As well, the association has clearly emerged as a major public policy voice in New Jersey on key issues relating to regulatory reform, business development and retention.

"One example is the association's recent solar energy seminar, which kicked off a series of programs on renewable energy," Stein said. "The seminar is indicative of NAIOP New Jersey's pro-active approach to addressing key issues, and several of the latest to join specifically cited that seminar as the impetus for their decision."

The newest members will also be taking advantage of NAIOP New Jersey's "15 months for 12" campaign, according to Bonnie Sovinee, director of programs and member services. As an added incentive, those who sign up between October and the end of the year will get the rest of this year free and will automatically be brought into the full January-December 2011 calendar year membership cycle.
