  • (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2021 - SALT LAKE CITY - The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts® (NACVA®) announces the launch of its Mentor Support Exchange (MSX) program. This new initiative is designed to provide a resource for NACVA members to obtain guidance and answers from experts for questions pertaining to business valuation, financial litigation, expert witness support, and financial forensics.

“For the last two years, NACVA has been developing the most comprehensive mentoring program ever seen in our profession, and likely in any profession,” said Parnell Black, President and CEO of NACVA. “We know teamwork is key to a successful enterprise, a successful career, and a successful life. It will keep you in business in difficult times and help you thrive in good times. We believe that no other association offers a more in-depth program of peer support for its members.”

NACVA has identified seven ways to assist its members’ needs, including a searchable directory of volunteer mentors, a question-and-answer forum, coaching for those new to the profession, referral support from carefully selected firms for large scale projects, inquiries related to professional standards, software and database support, and a valuation report peer review service. Access to these seven areas, along with descriptions of their offerings, can be found at www.practicesupporthq.com.

“We believe these areas will help our members share knowledge and ideas, guide less experienced practitioners to gain expertise and build their professional network, and facilitate opportunities to share referrals and grow their businesses,” said Jonathan Jackson, Executive Director of NACVA. “We invite all NACVA members to participate in this ground-breaking, career-building lifeline for the business valuation and financial litigation communities.”
