Myriad Supply Encourages Workplace Diversity Via Girl Develop It Campaign
Myriad Supply encourages women to pursue careers in technology development by contributing to Girl Develop It all through March.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) March 11, 2015 - To encourage more women to enter the technology field, Myriad Supply will be contributing funds to Girl Develop It during the month of March.
Girl Develop It is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering more women to pursue technology careers by providing affordable education to them in key areas such as software and web development.
Toward that end, Myriad Supply is partnering with Girl Develop It to drive both attention and money to their cause.
During March, Myriad will be posting questions in its Twitter feed. Each correct answer or retweet will result in Myriad donating $1 to Girl Develop It and entering those responsible into a drawing for a free Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook to take place on March 31.
"Myriad believes that by encouraging more women of all ages to pursue education and careers in web and software development, we'll all benefit from seeing an increase in talent and diversity in the tech world," said Hilary DeCourcey, Head of Charitable Giving at Myriad Supply.
