    MWI adds multi-talented musician Jonah Nilsson to their stellar roster of international touring artists. As front person and keyboardist of Swedish trio, Dirty Loops, Nilsson built a loyal fan base through touring and recording; his reverence for jazz is evident in his jazz/pop/funk-influenced sound. Having recently signed with Quincy Jones Productions’ management team, expect new music in 2018.

    “Signing a unique talent like Jonah Nilsson is exciting. We are intent on curating a roster of world class talent, expanding into new genres, and developing artists. Our dedication to building audiences on a global scale is having an impact,” says industry veteran and Music Works International founder and director, Katherine McVicker.     Music Works International, home to touring artists including Lizz Wright, Vijay Iyer, Kurt Elling,Dianne Reeves, Branford Marsalis, Ambrose Akinmusire, Roosevelt Collier, and Ruthie Foster, expands their booking and sales staff.

    MWI welcomes Italy-based agent and promoter Luigi Sidero, who has worked with some of the most refined jazz artists and festivals in Europe, to oversee the Eastern European booking region. He represents select roster artists to include Christian McBride, Dave Holland, Cyrille Aimee.

    Katie Hattier, recent graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Business Management, joins MWI as a Junior Agent and will develop artists and cultivate relationships with international clients, with focus primarily on the United Kingdom. The newest addition to the MWI team, Madeline Miller, is a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, and joins the sales team as Assistant to the Director.
