  • Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) March 16, 2012 - It's March, and the sounds of spring are everywhere. If you listen closely, you might hear a gentle rumble from a nearby highway. That sound can mean only one thing. The Harleys are coming out of hibernation and getting ready for spring rallies.

Ray Price Harley-Davidson and Ray Price Triumph celebrate spring this Saturday, March 17th, with a cook-off benefit for The Ride For Kids®, a program that supports the efforts of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation®. The event will take place at 1126 South Saunders Street in Raleigh, and the cost is $5 per person for 'all you can eat' Brunswick stew. The cook-off benefit will also include a blood drive for Rex Healthcare.

"At Ray Price, Inc., we focus on giving that makes a difference in the lives of others and our community," said Ray Price, owner of Ray Price Harley Davidson and Ray Price Triumph. "We also enjoy opportunities to come together with others who share our love for riding."

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is the world's largest non-governmental source of funding for childhood brain tumor research. The Ride For Kids is a signature program that brings together thousands of bikers who participate in approximately 40 rides across the nation. The Rex blood drive will support the Triangle by helping to ensure a safe and adequate blood supply is available for local patients. Every three seconds someone needs blood.

    Schedule for Saturday's Events:

    9 a.m. to 1 p.m. --- Blood drive sponsored by Rex Healthcare.
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. --- Nitro Prize Wheel - Wear green to spin the wheel for prizes.
