  • Knoxville, TN (1888PressRelease) April 11, 2016 - Moto Now, located on Alcoa Highway has chosen the Air Force Enlisted Village as it's first charity recipient of 2016. During the 2016 Smoky Mountain Air Show, Moto Now will offer hassle free parking with a view of the air show, free food, drinks, games, Moto Margo photo ops, give aways and restrooms. Parking will be $20 each day, with proceeds going to AFEV.

The Air Force Enlisted Village (AFEV) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose core mission is to provide a safe, secure home for surviving spouses of retired enlisted U.S. Airmen. AFEV operates Bob Hope Village, an independent living community with an assisted living and memory support residence, Hawthorn House. AFEV is an affiliate of the Air Force Assistance Fund campaign.

AFEV provides basic essentials that are usually taken for granted: a safe home, security, dignity, independence, and camaraderie. On-site conveniences provide worry-free living for our residents. These include transportation, household maintenance, wellness workshops, beauty salons, chapels, café, convenience store, activities program, social events, libraries, fitness room with classes, and beautiful parks and gardens.

AFEV understands that low pay and frequent military moves leave some spouses without careers, home equities, retirement plans or significant assets, or an unexpected tragedy or insurmountable medical expenses can deplete retirement savings. AFEV's Benevolent Fund provides financial assistance for surviving spouses of retired enlisted airmen while residing at Bob Hope Village and Hawthorn House. Here, they live among peers sharing memories of military life without the stigma normally associated with subsidized housing.

Moto Now is committed to being actively involved in the local community and supporting local charities and military charities. If your organization would like to have a fund-raising event or pet adoption or anything else charity related, please contact Melissa at 865-980-8050.
