An important delegation, led by Ahmed Reda Chami, the Moroccan Minister of Trade, Industry and New Technologies and composed of high-ranking officials from Moroccan public institutions as well as representatives from GIMAS, will be visiting the UK in order to promote foreign investment in Morocco and specifically within the Aeronautics sector.

It is worth remembering that this sector has seen strong growth in Morocco, particularly as part of the implementation of the national agreement on industrial development which made aeronautics a priority sector for growth and investment.

On 20th July, Mr Ahmed Reda Chami will address an assembled audience in Hall 1a to discuss Morocco's potential within the aviation field and meet with potential investors.

The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) has become established as a symbolic world event in the aviation sector. It occupies an important place among commercial trade fairs. The first five days are reserved for professionals from the sector while at the end of the week, it is open to the general public. The 2008 airshow was responsible for 88.7 billion $US of orders, beating all previous records.
