    About Ford Point:
Ford Point has an extensive history that dates back to as far as the 1920s when Henry Ford used the facility to assemble automobiles. World War II later converted Ford Point into an assembly for military vehicles and by 1990, the entire building suffered damages from the Loma Prieta earthquake. A major redevelopment project was undertaken to conserve the unique exterior while also modernizing the interior for commercial use.
