Montrio Bistro 2011 Artisan Series: Second Class Celebrates National Grilling Month And Will Be Held July 16th

  • Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) May 20, 2011 - Montrio Bistro announces the second class of its 2012 Artisan Series. During each class, attendees will meet local Artisans, enjoy lunch with Chef Tony Baker and sip tasty libations. Chef Baker says that these classes are "all about learning, enjoying and feeling good about what you eat!"
    The second class will celebrate National Grilling Month and will be held at Montrio on July 16th from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Learn to perfect the sizzle, smoke and mouth-watering aromas while you enjoy the fun and ease of cooking on a grill-indoor or out! Attendees will learn the art of grilling and how to master seafood on the grill. This is not just about shrimp on the barbie! Attendees will also enjoy a four course lunch paired with wine, all orchestrated by Chef Baker. There will also be an appearance by a local fisherman to discuss how to best select fresh fish for grilling.

    The third class will celebrate the art of making old-fashioned relishes, chutneys and preserves and will be held at Montrio on October 8th from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Participate in a hands-on demo and learn packaging ideas for your home made treats. It is never too early to start planning for holiday gifts. Attendees will also enjoy a four course lunch with wines, all created by Chef Baker.
