Monterrubio oil triumphs in Italy

Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastian, PR (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2011 - The cooperative's Miracle Monterrubio export to Italy about 70% of olive oil produced in this campaign, which this country will become the main target of production of society.

The manager of the cooperative, Juan Carlos Medina, explained that the Italian market is interested in extra virgin olive oil in this society for its flavor, texture, body, color and odor characteristics.

Oil ecological

In this campaign, the cooperative collect 6.5 million pounds of olive varieties picual and ergot, of which approximately 650,000 kilograms, 10 percent of its production, is intended to be the elaboration No ecological oil to be exported mostly to France, Germany or Belgium.
