    MONTEREY, CA -- Monterey Peninsula Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (MPVESC), located at 20 Lower Ragsdale Drive, Suite 150 in Monterey, teams up with The Hope Center of Monterey, the only Food Pantry on the Central Coast that can feed four legged friends in need, beginning Thursday, November 15th for a pet food drive and more!

    The Hope Center's mission is to establish a food pantry serving the Monterey Peninsula to help our neighbors in need with supplemental groceries. The organization provides information regarding community services and empowers our children to make our world a better place. The organization serves any family in need and that includes their pets! They believe when a family is hungry everyone suffers - Mom, Dad, the children and their pets.

    Starting Thursday, November 15 through Sunday, December 16th, bring in 5 or more cans of food and receive a free office visit (a $55 value) good towards your next visit to Monterey Peninsula Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center ($55 office visit credit is good for 1 donation only). And - did you know that the Monterey Peninsula Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center now offers 24 hour care? You can use the free office visit towards an annual check-up, booster shots, and so much more! Bring in your four legged friend and have your photo taken at Monterey Peninsula Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center at 20 Lower Ragsdale in Monterey. For a $10 donation to The Hope Center or a donation of 10 pounds of pet food, you will receive a complimentary electronic copy (jpg) of the photo to use for your holiday greetings. Photos will be emailed to you by December 20th. Photo booth will be open from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. And - there will be treats on site for both 2 legged and 4 legged friends.  Also Dogs on Glass, www.dogsonglass.com will be on hand with the perfect gift of artwork for your holiday gifts.  Dogs on Glass will donate 10% of all sales to The Hope Center of Monterey.
