(1888PressRelease) March 09, 2019 - Mohit Bansal Chandigarh, a renowned photographer of Chandigarh Tricity, is hosting an inter-college photography event at DAV college Chandigarh on Friday 26 July 2019. The idea is to promote art and photography instinct among students, and exhibit a career path they can choose.

“We need to work together to reconstruct the society we live in today. Our society sees photographer as third grade workers but it’s time to change their point of view", says Mohit Bansal Chandigarh in regards to this event.

Mayor of Chandigarh is invited as the Chief guest and he will kick start the event with his humble and motivational address. Later, Mohit Bansal will share his story for how he became a photographer, what inspired him to choose this career. The students will be then shared with the contest rules and tips to make things work.

The competition will be decided in two segments, mobile camera photography and DSLR photography. Student can choose either one of them and enrol listing their gadget. They will be given 1 hour of time to come up with their best shots. Be it of nature, art, people, landscape/portrait, anything of their liking. Each contest will be submitting a set of photographs and the jury members consisting of Mr. Mayor, Mohit Bansal Chandigarh and the art and craft professor.

Before the winner is announced, Mr. Mohit Bansal will be sharing all the technicality on camera angles, shots and the camera itself. Followed by a long ceremony of certificate distribution to all the participants which will be a proof of their involvement in extracurricular activity. The winner be chosen based on his/her photography talent like frame, lighting, time of shot (captured moment) and what the picture says at first glance.

At the concluding time, all the students will be present with a form of internship that they can fill if they are filling to join for the internship program at Mohit Bansal Chandigarh Photography. The program will cover all the major facet of the photography and even get the intern dive into editing.
