  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 13, 2013 - Leading-edge contest based modeling website, Model Launcher LLC. (http://modellauncher.com/), has announced Casey D'Carrion of Dunbar, Pennsylvania as an official member of the Model Launcher Winner's Circle. Casey is the second non-winner of a contest that has been added to the Winner's Circle.

Model Launcher executives were going through contest submission photos when they spotted Casey's submission shot. She wasn't able to receive enough of a popular public vote to push her to the top, but fortunately enough the Model Launcher team took notice and approached Casey to participate in a new project idea Model Launcher was developing for editorial style shoots. Casey received Model Launcher's first ever editorial shoot with John Fisher, exclusively featuring clothing from popular fashion brand Guess, a trip to Miami, and publicity support from Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR, also known as BPMPR, to help her kick off her modeling career.

"At the time we had been thinking of the concept of having editorial style shoots for a while, but were still playing with the idea." begins CEO and founder of Model Launcher, Mansfield Staniford. "We thought of using past winners, but then we saw Casey's submission photo and instantly knew she would be perfect for our editorial shoot. There was something in her that just clicked with the camera, and we couldn't let go of it. We wanted to move some time in between contest auditions and decided to hand pick Casey to test out the new shoot format."

Model Launcher.com is a competition based website that offers aspiring models, both male and female from ages 13 and up, a platform to be discovered through various online themed modeling contests. Every contest on the website is powered by public voting, and the contestants are encouraged to share their voting links through assorted popular social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and so on in order to increase their chances at winning. This was the first editorial style photo shoot for Model Launcher, but definitely not the last. They plan to continue to partner with other major fashion labels to offer other contestants in the Model Launcher community the same opportunity at an editorial style photo shoot featuring the exclusive brands.

"It's still hard to believe that despite not winning a contest I still received this unbelievable opportunity with Model Launcher," begins the newest member of the Model Launcher Winner's Circle, Casey D'Carrion. "I'm really proud to be a non-winning team member alongside Elizabeth Bujans. Because of these new editorial style photo shoots, non-winners like me still have the opportunity to travel to Miami for a professional photo shoot. The entire experience was incredible! I loved the clothing we used, and John Fisher really helped me loosen up in front of the camera to get some great shots."

Casey remembers looking at the Victoria's Secret Angels in the catalogs when she was younger, and being mesmerized by their beauty. She was instantly inspired by them and decided to pursue her dreams of modeling since then. Now, Casey is the proud mother to a beautiful, lively two year old boy named Niko, and works as a hairstylist at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa while still pursuing a career in modeling. She brought her son with her to Miami, and stayed with family friends in Boynton Beach, just north of the Magic City. After enjoying the sights that came along with her photo shoot, Casey also enjoyed the natural views of the Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands in Boynton Beach with her son.
