    To celebrate eleven years of Culture, Community, and Music, the second week in July (9th-15th), Opportunity 4 Entertainers & Performing Arts will hold its annual Alabama Hip Hop Week (AAHW). Alabama Hip Hop Week focuses on education, community outreach, and networking throughout the Mobile County by way of music and arts. We are seeking volunteers, partners, sponsors, and others that would like to be a part of this great week of events.

    Monday, July 9, 2018, kicks off the week with AHHW Meet & Greet Welcome Party held at The Temple in Downtown Mobile at 351 St Francis St., Mobile, AL 36602 from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM.

    AHHW is hosting a Welcoming Party to Celebrate the kickoff of the 11th Annual AHHW. The welcoming party is also a fundraiser for the Lupus Foundation, Mobile Arts Council, and The Opportunity 4 Entertainers School of Performing Arts. This event cost is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. There will be guest speakers and live entertainment.     Tuesday, July 10, 2018, is AHHW’s Annual Community Service Day at “A Blight” Community Location, TBD, Mobile, AL 36606 from 8:00 AM-Until.

    Our objective is to revitalize a blighted community by reforming the look by cleaning up a local neighborhood and visual arts. Opportunity 4 Entertainers and Performing Arts are seeking volunteers, visual artist, and others to help complete a full makeover of the choosing blighted community.     Wednesday, July 11, 2018, a Youth Summit will be held with a career fair. There will be breakout sessions for the youth to learn about different career opportunities, jobs, and foreseeing their education. The Youth Summit will also consist of a host of outside activities that are FREE to the entire community. Opportunity 4 Entertainers invites everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities and the annual kickball game. Come cheer on the teams of your choice Mobile area DJs vs. Mobile Police Department (MPD) and Adults vs. Children kickball games. MPD won last year’s kickball game we will see who will hold this year’s title. These events are guaranteed to keep everyone entertained: There will be FREE food and beverages, Space Walks, Dunk the DJ Booth, and more.

    Thursday, July 12, 2018, The AHHW Music Conference and Workshop's mission is to educate artist, managers, producer, or anyone who would like to learn more about the entertainment industry. The music conference is taking place at the Soul Kitchen 219 Dauphin St, Mobile, AL 36602 from 5:00 PM-until. There will be a live discussion panel created to answer all need-to-know question regarding the industry, immediately following will be music showcase to close out the night.

    Friday, July 13, 2018, join us in celebrating the culture of Art, starting at 6:00 PM in the LODA (Lower Dauphin) Art District. LODA Art Walk is a FREE event! AHHW is teaming up with LODA Art Walk. The LODA Art Walk takes place monthly, every second Friday, in Downtown Mobile on Dauphin St and surrounding areas. AHHW will have DJs spinning and a host of events throughout the evening.

    Saturday, July 14, 2018, is the inaugural Official DJ DIRTY DAN DAY Concert, AHHW 2018 Super Saturday! Performing LIVE in concert is a host of Regional and National artist at the Soul Kitchen Music Hall at 219 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL, 36602. Doors will open at 8:00 PM and showtime are at 9:00 PM.
