  • Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) May 19, 2012 - Jason Miskowic, a RE/MAX Hall of Famer thought that his website homesmnforsale.com could be better designed. The website's aim is to help people find homes for sale in Minnesota and Miskowic looking through the conversion of the website saw that the search feature of the site is not strategically placed thus confusing first-time visitors.

In a bid to make the website easier for users to use, he commissioned a team to work on redesigning the website. The result can now be seen at homesmnforsale.com.

The redesigning of the website has four aims. First is to make it easier for users to navigate to the search feature. Second is to make the site look more presentable. Third is to provide more information and tools to home buyers to help them in their search. Fourth is to focus on communities where buyers can find houses for sale that would give them the best value for their money.

Using Wordpress as the platform for the new website, Jason's team created a website where a call to action to go to the search page is very visible to site visitors. An additional investment in a premium theme was made to make the site look more presentable compared to the old website. A blog section was also implemented where home buyers can read informative articles from home buying tips to repairing an old home after buying.

A new feature to the site was also added namely the community pages. There are currently six highlighted cities/communities on the homepage: Apple Valley, Burnsville, Lakeville, Prior Lake, Savage, and Shakopee. The individual pages for these cities aim to give home buyers reasons why choosing a house in any of these places is a good decision.
